mum2mum friends' was created by a group of local mums who joined together to help raise the profile of breastfeeding support in the Dumfries area.  As our group has grown we have expanded our aims to include projects with other health benefits to help give children the best start in life, and we are now part of Bump, Baby and Beyond (Dumfries and Galloway), a registered charity.

 

One of the main aims of this website is to tell new mums and mums-to-be about the help, support and information on breastfeeding which is available to all women in Dumfries and Galloway, and specifically the service provided by the NHS Breastfeeding Peer Support service at the Mum-to-Mum drop-in in Dumfries. We have all benefited in some way from the local support network and would like to ensure that new mums know where to go for help.
